Heather is originally from Ottumwa but grew up on her grandma's farm in Floris, IA, where her love of animals began. She has three wonderful children—two daughters and a son. Heather considers herself a cat person, which is why she has a cat named Denver. If she could be anything, she would love to be a homesteader, embracing a simpler lifestyle.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, camping, and traveling.
