Kennel Attendant

Garver’s Animal Health Center has a part-time Kennel Attendant position available. Day shifts and every other weekend required. This is the perfect position for a person who has animal care experience and enjoys working with clients and pets in an environment where every day is different.

Veterinary Kennel Attendant Duties: greeting clients, working closely with patients and clients, client service, cleaning cages, dog walking, preparing and serving food to patients and boarders, administering medications, hospital cleaning duties, laundry, assisting doctors/technicians with procedures and client education.

Veterinary Kennel Attendant Requirements: Preference will be given to candidates with veterinary hospital or related animal care experience. Will train the right individual. Must be extremely detail-oriented. Desire to work in a busy, fast-paced environment. Ability to work with a diverse group, and be a team player. Must be an excellent multi-tasker. Must be self-motivated, responsible, compassionate and love animals.

Hourly wage commensurate with experience.
