Dr. Lisa Gronewold is a 2001 graduate of Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln in 1997. Dr. Gronewold practices small animal medicine and surgery in our Albia office. She has a special interest in small animal orthopedic surgeries. Lisa loves working at the Albia location, she believes it is a great place to work if you like to work hard and have fun doing it.
Dr. Gronewold grew up on her family’s farm near Genoa, NE. She spent one year practicing at the Greene Veterinary Clinic in Greene, IA before moving to Albia in 2002. She and her husband, Nate, have two daughters. In her free time, Dr. Gronewold enjoys spending time with her family doing 4-H activities, attending their kids’ sporting events and activities, and helping on their farm. Lisa is a dog and cat person; at home she has a Great Pyrenees, Cozmo, and a cat, Carlos. If Lisa could choose her hidden talent and a superpower to have, she would choose healing powers and to be more creative.
