Makenley grew up on a farm near Udell, IA. She attended Moulton-Udell High School and continued her education at DMACC in Ankeny, IA majoring in Agribusiness. Makenley enjoys working in the animal industry, as she has 4 dogs, some barn cats, and a small cow-calf operation at home. When Makenley isn’t at work; she often is found spending time with family, doing bridal party makeup on the weekends, and attending her Church. She also likes baking, kayaking, reading, flowers/plants, collecting quilts, antiquing, and playing card & dice games.
