Melissa attended Indian Hills and Kirkwood Community College and currently lives with her husband, two sons, and their dog named Chip. Growing up, Melissa wanted to be an astronaut, but now she wishes she had the ability to read people’s minds and speak all languages. To anyone wanting to join the Animal Health Center family, she says, “Be outgoing, have a great sense of humor, and compassion, and don’t take things too personally.”
