Centerville, IA – Feb. 2, 2026 – Animal Health Center of Centerville is proud to celebrate its five-year anniversary serving Southern Iowa as a locally owned large and small animal veterinary clinic. Purchased by its current three owners (Dewey Nibe, Ryan Howard, and Clint Hodson) in 2021, Animal Health Center of Centerville joins four sister clinics, which were originally established in 2001, and has grown to include 11 veterinarians and more than 40 support staff providing compassionate, dependable care for both companion animals and livestock.
In March of 2024, the clinic expanded by moving into a new clinic in Centerville. This expansion included a new feed building which further strengthens Animal Health Center’s ability to serve area producers. As a supplier for Umbarger Feed, Animal Health Center of Centerville continues to support local agriculture while building trusted relationships with pet owners, farmers, and ranchers across the region. The clinic is grateful for the continued support of the Southern Iowa Community and looks forward to caring for local families and their animals for years to come.
“Our success is truly a team effort,” added Dewey Nibe, owner. “We are proud of our veterinarians and support staff who show up every day with skill, compassion, and a strong work ethic. We are also grateful to our clients and community who have supported us since day one.”
As Animal Health Center of Centerville looks ahead, the owners remain committed to continued growth, staff development, and advancing veterinary care for the region, while also staying rooted in the values that inspired the clinic’s founding.
