Whether you’re an experienced veterinarian or a new graduate, we’d love to talk with you. Animal Health Centers is a well-established veterinary practice, first established in 2002 and has slowly grown into five locations: Albia, Oskaloosa, Knoxville, Ottumwa and Centerville. Our experienced, friendly support staff is here to help you succeed. We are located between the rolling hills in southern Iowa and service surrounding areas, including northern Missouri. As “America’s Heartland” we have excellent hunting and fishing. Iowa is rated the fourth best state in the country for education. There are numerous recreational facilities offered across our five-clinic span. We are located by two of Iowa’s largest lakes, Lake Rathbun and Lake Red Rock, all of which is about an hour south of Des Moines.
We offer top-of-the-line facilities and equipment including in-house digital radiographs, ultrasound, in-house CBC, chemistry, and urinalysis provided at all clinics. We have excellent haul in facilities in three of the five practices, hydraulic tilt chutes, ultrasound with goggles, equine stocks, equine power float, For-Most portable hydraulic and manual chutes.
